With Sprinkles On Top

Several months ago I came across this post on With Sprinkles On Top and I thought I’d share. It’s 30 things she learned by 30.

In no particular order:

1. Wear clothes that fit. So many women screw this up — and just because it buttons doesn’t mean that it fits.

2. Go to the funeral; send a card; hand-write a note. If a friend is struggling, show up for them. The smallest of gestures matter.

3. Be mindful of who you complain to about what.

4. When in doubt, overdress and err on the side of modesty. What you wear and how you present yourself sends a powerful message. Just sayin’.

5. Figure out what color(s) look good on you and werrrrrk them.

6. Learn how to be alone (or single, if you prefer that term). This is so important for young girls. Be able to stand on your own — with hobbies, interests, desires, and a career that have nothing to do with any man.

7. Friendships can be seasonal. This is okay.

8. No one keeps secrets.

9. Be cautious about men who are too charming — and about women who can’t get along with other women.

10. You do not want to peak in high school. Get through it, get out, and get ready to marvel at how great your life will be afterward.

11. For the love of God, READ. Read books. Read non-fiction. Read newspapers. Read opinions that are not your own. READ. There is no better way to be a smarter, well-rounded person.

12. Stop justifying everything you love by saying “it’s a guilty pleasure!” Own it. Even if others will laugh.

13. Your weight will fluctuate. It’s not the end of the world if you gain a little. Just get back on track and learn how your body maintains weight — because it becomes 10x harder once you leave your teens and early twenties. (seriously… what the hell, metabolism?)

14. Become friends with your parents. Chances are they are awesome people.

15. Everybody has a vice. Everybody.

16. Nobody has it all. Nobody.

17. Don’t make big decisions or write important e-mails when tired and/or hungry.

18. In the words of Mindy Kaling: sometimes you just have to put on lip gloss and pretend to be psyched.

19. Overprepare. Then go with the flow.

20. Never, ever dumb yourself down to cushion the egos of others (ahem, men).

21. Not everyone is going to like you. Make peace with this.

22. Every single person knows something that you do not. Isn’t that awesome?

23. Life becomes easier when you can laugh about it. Humor can be found in nearly every situation — even the tragic.

24. Don’t be THAT person. It’s great to be passionate about the finer things in life, but don’t be that person who refuses to drink a cup of cheap coffee.

25. Happy celebrations and surprises are what make life great. Eat the cake and be present in those moments.

26. No one cares how busy you are or how drunk you got last night.

27. Don’t be a bully and don’t make others feel insignificant.

28. Good things happen to those who hustle.

29. No really, shit could always be worse.

30. You always have a choice.

Plus a bonus… because to be technical, I’m in my thirty-first year of life:

31. We all sit on the bell curve of life. For those not statistically-minded, this means that there is always someone who will be richer/poorer/smarter/dumber/prettier/uglier/etc than you. You’ll sleep better at night if you make peace with this fact.

Check out this post: My boobs don’t need your husband to see them: or, you probably think this pic is about you. The author of the original post is just an idiot. An insecure idiot. And their are other idiot women that agree with her. Wow. No words.

Along those same lines, I found this post, 27 times porn lied to us about sex in the real world, rather funny.

SO glad I found this post, Dear Men: This Is Why Women Have Every Right To Be Disgusted With Us, because yessssss, this is the shit women deal with!!!

You should visit her blog for the pictures alone if you don’t want to read..

Read this to find out why traveling long term is not a waste of potential.

Traveling the world as a woman

Why she feels safe traveling the world alone

This post really hit home for me. Why being alone is what you really need.

Weekly Roundup: TV and Other Extras

My bikini came in the mail on Friday! Unfortunately my T&A took one look at it and laughed. It will be sent back as you can definitely see my butt crack in the small bottoms and my boobs look like they might pop out of the top at any minute. I’ve never had to order a large top. WTF? Apparently Australian sizes are completely different than US. I showed Ashley the top and her response was “that is not a medium top!” It really does look like an XS.

This is how it should look, but doesn’t.

I have a confession. I’m a sugar addict. My favorite food is cake. Recently I came across 25 reasons to stop eating sugar. The fact that it’s been linked to cancer alone makes me seriously rethink my intake.

Remember a few years ago when I dated S? Well, his sister Cassie is on a little show called Private Lives of Nashville Wives.

Screen Shot 2014-03-08 at 9.35.19 PM

Check out some clips of Cassie. This is not your typical trashy Housewives show. Cassie and Gary’s story is more about their adoption process (so far, they have only aired 2 episodes). I cannot say enough good things about them. They are two open and loving people. I remember when S told me that his sister was going to contact me on FB to get to know me shortly after he and I met. Once I finally met her we went to lunch and I had the best time just walking around getting to know her. She truly is an amazing person. Can I be related to her even though he and I broke up? ha  I don’t think you’ll find anyone with a bigger heart than Cassie.

Here is the extended opening.. If you check out the link above with her story, there are 3 videos on her page. They show a closet tour, a home tour, and what the ladies think of Cassie. I hate they didn’t show their library. They have an ahhhhmazing library slammed full of books in their home. I could live in that room alone for months.

I have been reading Chelsea’s blog since I started my first blog in 2009. She posted this on IG and I cracked up laughing.

This post on 5 fattest foods girls love to eat  had me dying. Funny and very true!!

Remember when I posted about Theo and Beau? Check out her Freshpet Team Cuddle Finalists. ADORABLE!

That’s all I have for this week. It’s been a rough week for me. Say some prayers please! 🙂

This makes me want to travel.

Fellow blogger and ATLian Whitney recently went on a life changing trip to Africa. She read the book Love Does by Bob Goff and felt an urgency to do something with his foundation, Restore International.

I have enjoyed reading about her time in Africa and how it changed her. So inspiring…

Here are the links, they speak for themselves..

Quitting Dating

I love when I find a post I really identify with. When I read it nodding my head the whole time because, OMG I’m normal!
Whitney has a way with her writing.. There’s something about it that I can always identify with. I do not know her in person, even though she’s also an ATLian, but I feel like she’s one of those people that you could talk to about anything and she would just listen. Those people are awesome people to have in your life.
Enough rambling, check out her post.
The fact is, somewhere along the line, I’ve become consumed with – obsessed with – dating. I’ve spent a lot of time in the last few months pursuing my relationship with God, but I’ve remained a little frustrated. For months, I’ve felt like I’ve been hitting a glass ceiling – getting so close, yet something was still keeping me from Him.

5 Things Men and Women Should Start Doing Again

I recently came across Thought Catalog and a post by Chelsea Fagan on five things men and women should start doing again. Brilliant. Here are some of the ones for women I agree with.
She says, As always, these are simply my personal favorite habits that we’ve largely let slip by the wayside, and I am more than aware that some of you are still living them to the fullest or have no interest in making them a part of your own life. An ass for every seat, as it were.

Using fancy stockings with garter belts.

Hosting Barefoot Contessa-esque parties.

Day drinking with abandon.

Wearing incredibly fancy shit for no reason.

What Age Hangovers Are The Worst

Have you noticed how hangovers seem to last for 2 days the older you get? I’m 29 and not only do my hangovers seem to last 1-2 days, but it seems like I can drink my normal amount to get a buzz, and I don’t have a buzz. Then when I get home and get ready for bed, I feel wasted. What is that about?!

Science shows 29 years old as the worst year of life for hangovers. From there it only gets worse. Wonderful, because I’m 29 and it only took 2 months prior to my 30th birthday to figure that out. I didn’t actually figure it out though. One of my guy friends posted an article on it on Facebook. Read it here.

My Place

I saw this question on Ashley’s blog and I thought I would post on this subject also!

I think you all know who Luke Bryan is..

Buster Posey is the first baseman for San Fran Giants. He’s pretty good. Prior to the 2013 spring training season, Posey signed a one-year, $8 million contract with the Giants, followed on March 29 by an eight-year extension worth $167 million, said by the Giants to be the most lucrative in franchise history. The contract wiped out three arbitration years for Posey, locked in his services and value through the 2021 season and provided the club with an option for 2022. The agreement was the second largest in major league history for a catcher, exceeded only by that of Joe Mauer in 2010 with the Minnesota Twins.

I think most of you also know who Phillip Phillips is. He won American Idol’s 11th season. How much of an honor is this?! When asked about Phillips’ imitation of his style, Dave Matthews said: “More power to him, I don’t mind”, and added “He should kick my ass, [then] maybe I can retire and he can take over my band.”

What’s your place? What’s something interesting about your hometown?

Being Single and Being Awesome

I came across this post on fellow ATLian Whitney’s blog. She highlights some reasons you should be happy you’re young and single.

  1. You can be selfish
  2. You have time to figure yourself out and what you want
  3. You can figure out what your deal breakers are

Check out her post! I agreed with all of it. As much as I’m ready to settle down, it’s nice to be reminded that I can do whatever I want without having to take into consideration anyone else.

Thoughts and Prayers

I do my best praying and thinking in the shower. Depending on my day, I take a shower in the morning and one at night. Tonight after working out, I started thinking about God and why things are the way they are. Let me see if I can word this..

There’s a particular situation that I absolutely do not understand. Most of what I don’t understand are the feelings that I have. Do we actually have control over our feelings though? Which is probably the main problem. I am a control freak. I can’t do anything about the situation and it’s in the past. It hurts and makes me sad. All I have are the make-me-want-to-vomit feelings. Literally sick to my stomach. WHY? I don’t want to. I want to not care. Yet I do. A lot.

In the shower I started thinking, that’s your problem. HELLO! You’re a control freak. You need to let go and let God. Only, where and how do you begin? How do you change the pattern? Which lead me to thinking, why didn’t God make it easy? On the flip side, if he made us all perfect, what would the point of everything be? Everything as in, life, Jesus dying for us.. Why can’t we all just be happy and healthy and worship Him? That probably sounds really stupid but that was really my thought process. Can you tell that even when I’m praying I seem to get side-tracked?

I’m not sure if it’s my age or what, but I’ve started feeling ..empty. I think maybe that’s the best way to word my feelings. I’ve started to realize that just praying is not cutting it. I’ve actually read a few blogs in particular (Bloom, The Little Things We Do, and Butler: Party of 2)  that made me think, wow they are so into their relationship with God and you can tell. That’s definitely something that just praying is not doing for me. I downloaded the YouVersion Bible App that Kerri mentioned in her post. I think this should help me tremendously. I think that daily devotion is a good start for me.  It’s not fair for me to ask God to bless me with all these things that I want in the future (husband, family, etc) and only interact with Him through prayer. I figure I have absolutely nothing to lose. I mean, I want to feel joy too! That’s the one I am starting with – A Jolt of Joy. There are several others that caught my eye, but I think for now I need to stick to doing just one.

Friday Funnies

AHHH! I’ve been so busy working my booty off that I almost forgot about posting today!!

Check out what I did.

those areas were slammed full of boxes…

Here are some personal funnies that I have.

You will only get this if you A) are a Braves fan, or B) follow MLB

I was texting with my boss yesterday helping him out with flight info since he was out of town. This auto correct made me laugh for an hour.

Once again Miss Taylor has managed to make me laugh, but then again it really doesn’t take much.

This post on who was having the best week ever. #1 being: Fake Girlfriends

Coming in 2nd, not first, like he prefers: Lance Armstrong. Her commentary on this whole post had me laughing. The news about Elin & Tiger was something I hadn’t heard, but Adele exposing Taylor’s mean side was pretty dead on. I too think that she’s really just a mean girl.

Her Dear Mittens letter cracked me up. I love my Repubs but that post had me dying.

This picture.. this will be my friend Sara in several years! hahaha

Friday Funnies

I decided to post each Friday things that made me laugh over the week. Hopefully I can start this and keep it up, at least for a year? We shall see!

On Monday I got The Daily Tay’s post, Resolutions You Should Have Made. She did a celebrity version and the one that cracked me up was Taylor Swift. Taylor, you should make a resolution to steal Kanye’s baby the second the doctor places it in his arms and proclaim, this belongs to Ray J!

2. Monday my friend Sara and I went ice skating. We were trying to figure out if we wanted to watch the football game before ice skating, or if we wanted to watch the game one night, and the next night go skating. As we were texting back and forth she asked who was playing. I told her UGA. She wrote me back and told me that they had already played. OHHHHHH YEAHHHH… No wonder the guys looked at me funny when I told two of them they should pull for UGA since they both went to school there. …hahahahahaha  I told them about it the next day and they both said they thought I was being sarcastic. LOL

3. After ice skating we hit up a bar to watch the football game. When we were leaving down town we kept running into roads where no left turn was allowed. We needed to turn left to get back to our side of town. We finally approached a road that let us turn left. So we needed to make another left to head in the right direction. The next intersection we approached said “NO LEFT TURN”. I started laughing at the circumstance and told Sara the sign might as well have said, “HAHA Tricked ya!”

4. While driving in the ghetto since we were lost, we approached a gas station. There were several signs on a fence along the wall to the building. I started laughing and Sara asked what I was laughing at. I told her, “that sign says ‘NECKS'”. So random. The closer we got to the sign I saw that it actually said V Necks but the “V” was above the word necks so I didn’t see it. Again, we were about to pee our pants from laughing.

5. Pinterest always makes me laugh..

I guess that’s why I don’t own a LV?

hahahahahaa YESSSSS!!

I saw this post on my friend Carly‘s blog and I thought I had to check it out.

Per the Numerology website, Numerology is the historic study of the relationship between names, birthdates, and numbers. In fact the word Numerology is derived from the word ‘numerus’ a Latin word for ‘number’ and the Greek word ‘logos’ meaning thought & word.

In Numerology, unlike Astrology or tarot, a person’s birth name as-well-as their birth-date have significant influences on their life path and personality. Calculating various influential traits of a person is a straight forward process.

I figured I’d give it a whirl. Low and behold, it was spot on!

Life Path Number: 7

The searcher and the seeker of the truth.

Life path 7’s have a clear and compelling sense of themself as a spiritual being. As a result, the life path 7 is devoted to investigations into the unknown, and finding the answers to the mysteries of life.

You may have noticed you are well-equipped to handle your task. You possess a fine mind; you are an analytical thinker, capable of great concentration and theoretical insight. You enjoy research, and putting the pieces of an intellectual puzzle together. Once you have enough pieces in place, you are capable of highly creative insight and practical solutions to problems.

Need Your Space?

You enjoy your solitude and prefer to work alone. You need time to contemplate your ideas without the intrusion of other people’s thoughts. You are a lone wolf, a person who lives by his own ideas and methods. As a result, close associations are difficult for you to form and keep, especially marriage. You need your space and privacy, which, when violated, can cause you great frustration and irritation.

Life Path 7 Is The Life Of The Party

When your life is balanced, however, you are both charming and attractive. You can be the life of a party, and enjoy performing before an audience. You enjoy displaying your wit and knowledge, which makes you attractive to others, especially the opposite sex. But you have distinct limits. While you are generous in social situations, sharing your attention and energy freely, you are keenly aware of the need to ‘come off stage’ and return to the solitude of your lair. You associate peace with the unobtrusive privacy of your world. Therefore, intimacy is difficult for you, because you guard your inner world like a mother lion does her cubs.

Don’t Be A Loner

All this privacy and aloneness can cause isolation and loneliness, however. You can be aware of an emptiness in your life, a part of you that yearns for company and close companionship that may be unsatisfied. If isolation is brought to the extreme, you can become cynical and suspicious. You can develop hidden, selfish motives, which people may sense and may cause them discomfort around you.

You must guard against becoming too withdrawn and independent, thus shutting out the love of others and keeping you from experiencing the true joy of friendship and close companionship. You must especially watch out for selfishness and egocentricity, thinking of yourself as the center of the universe, the only person who really matters. Social contact gives you perspective on yourself and on life, while too much isolation can make you too narrow and even shut off from the rest of the world.

Learn Balance

Secretly, you may feel jealous of the easy relationships formed by others; you may perceive others as less inhibited than you, or more free to express themselves. You may harshly criticize yourself for not being more gregarious, powerful, or capable of greater leadership. Your challenge in life is to maintain your independence without feeling isolated or ineffectual. You must hold fast to your unique view on the world, while at the same time being open to others and the knowledge they have to offer.

With your abilities to learn, analyze, seek out answer’s to life’s important questions, you have the potential for enormous growth and success in life. By the time you reach middle age, you will radiate refinement and wisdom. Pythagoras loved the seven for its great spiritual potential.

If you know me IRL, that’s scarily accurate so I tried out the Expression Calculator. Here is what it said about me..

Expression Number: 1

You are a natural leader, independant and individualistic.

You are extremely original, ambitious, and courageous. You employ new and unproven methods. You are an explorer and an innovator. Openness to too many peripheral influences limits and frustrates you. You are self-reliant, confident, and energetic.

You possess executive abilities and are most successful at owning or independently managing a business. You need the freedom to make your own decisions, based on your own ideas. You can be an astute politician. You also possess the ability to influence the opinions of your milieu.

The number 1 symbolizes the front-runner, pioneer, warrior, risk-taker, and daredevil. Generals, top politicians, successful businessmen, self-made millionaires, religious leaders, inventors, activists, and avant-garde artists are often born with a 1 Expression.

Strength and perseverance are central to your success. You must be willing to travel the frontiers of life, away from the beaten path. You possess a great reserve of willpower that must be directed at your goals. You do not give up, but relentlessly pursue your aims. You are quite opinionated. People tend to be inspired or repelled by your strong personality.

You have great powers of concentration and the ability to visualize your goals, thus making them more attainable. You stand up for your convictions and hold your ground. All of these abilities enhance your chances of success in life.

There is a tendency to be self-centered. You can be domineering and, in the extreme, a bully. You can be highly critical of others, complaining that people lack the industry or determination you possess. But this lack of understanding can alienate friends and family members from you. You must learn to control this tendency to maintain harmony in relationships. Once you are convinced of the inherent correctness of your ideas, you stubbornly – and sometimes rigidly – defend and propagate them. Avoid obstinacy and antagonism. You must cultivate balance, compassion, and perseverance. You easily assume the role of protector. You spring into action when leadership is needed.

Pride can be your downfall. You so powerfully identify with your goals and ambitions that you sometimes refuse to see a potential flaw or weakness in your well-laid plans. You possess strength and determination, which, when applied to any endeavor your are committed to, will lead you to great success in life.

Again, dead on. I even looked up people in my life, and theirs was accurate too! Cray!

How About Today?

In light of recent events, I loved this post I came across on MaskCara. She talks about how people in general are always preparing themselves for the next thing in life. I myself am guilty of this. I’m a planner by nature. It’s good to stop and take the moment in, which I try to do often. Maybe that’s why Oprah suggested keeping a Gratitude Journal? 🙂

Check out her post in the link above.

New Look

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you will notice a much improved look. It’s so pretty and girly and sweet..totally me. HA! I owe all the thanks to Erin of EEF Designs. SHE. IS. AWESOME. She went above and beyond and then 10 miles more to help me. I cannot say enough about how great she is. Seriously.

Side note: I contacted at least 20 people to help me design a look for my blog. None of them could help me with a self-hosted wordpress design. I hontesly thought about switching back over to Blogger because of it. I mean, having a cute blog is just, well, attractive. Who would have known it was that hard? Erin did a fantastic job and I am more than pleased with her work! She also creates designs for Blogger. Go check her out!!

Last year I didn’t dress up because I was out of town. My friend Sara and I were determined to dress up as loofahs for this year.

I found that on Pinterest last year. Super cute right?

Here is Sara, with hers somewhat put together.

Of course as with any outfit, you need cute shoes. We decided that we were going to spray glitter spray into the loofahs so they look as though they’ve been soaped up. What goes with that? Well glitter shoes of course!

I bought these shoes from Target this past summer and I didn’t wear them as much as I thought I would. So I decided to use these to glitter. The left shoe is with one coat of modge podge and glitter. Clearly that wasn’t enought glitter. Sara and I ran to Target and bought some spray adhesive glue. This stuff is no joke. It is super sticky and it got every where. So I sprayed down a couple of sections at a time and poured more glitter on.

Super cute right? Sara’s are on the left and mine are on the right. Her loofah is pink and mine is purple. I knew I didn’t want purple shoes so this is what I came up with. She used a pair of old shoes, painted them with pink fabric paint and used pink glitter, instead of the opal-color I used.

Here are our outfits from Saturday night. Sara and her mom made us bubble headbands, which turned out super cute! We also used spray glitter to spray on the netting so we would look “wet” like a loofah! Oh and she also made a duck purse, bc of rubber ducky tub toys.

Me and Gretchen (black cat)

La La Land

My friend Laura decided to start a blog!

You may remember her from here..

Or not, because I never posted that pic. She’s funny, loves wine, she’s sarcastic, and is obsessed with MAC makeup. She’s cool in my book! SO, go read her blog here.

Happy Friday!!! If this doesn’t get you pumped for the weekend, I don’t know what will. This is so cool. My bloggy friend Urs tweeted about this and I had to check it out.

Per the website, STACKED offers quality wine without the hassle of a bottle, corkscrew, or stemware. STACKED is a bottle of wine separated into four stemless wine glasses. Each glass contains 187ml of wine and a 4-pack has the same volume, 750 ml, as a traditional bottle of wine.

STACKED is the perfect wine solution for ….ANYTHING! Right now they carry Chardonnay, Merlot, and my fav, Pinot Grigio. Genius idea!!

Dog Shaming

Here’s something to make you laugh. Dog Shaming. My friend Amber told me about it. You’re welcome!

Cozybear at her finest has been caught eating an entire 6lb raw lamb roast and spoiling Easter dinner! The string was the only hard evidence left!

He is notorious for eating bread and chips off of the counter. We thought a can of soup was safe…

He’s done something bad often enough to need a box of shame.

Every.Single.Time…. without exception. Moose has some serious issues with PDA.

I’m not even mad… that’s amazing.

Jake the Dog: I welcomed the hedgehog to her new home by trying to EAT her. My mom spent an hour plucking quills out of me 🙁
FizzBitch the hedgehog: I chase the dog around the house because he’s scared of me now LoL

Fall Fitness: When the Bikinis Are Put Away

A few months ago I had the opportunity to meet Sarah while she was in town. She is such an awesome person that I asked her to guest post for me a few days ago. Here is what she came up with.

Hey there Life in Heels readers! I’m Sarah and I blog over at Simply Sarah. Let me start off by saying that in exactly 1 month, V and I will be reunited once again! Ahh I cannot wait!!! 🙂

This girl is awesome. Seriouslyyyy! She sends me random pictures on my way to work. {most of which are in reference to the IQ of said mr. lochte} Anyway, when she asked me to take over for her today, I was thrilled to do so!

Fitness is a good part of my life and today I wanted to talk about staying fit throughout fall.

Let me be totally honest for a sec. I had a love/hate relationship with the Olympics this year. Up until 3 weeks ago, I was in the gym every morning at 5am. I was eating pretty healthy and was feeling good about myself. Cue Olympics. Staying up til 1am almost every night does not make it easy possible to get up in the morning. Sooooo workouts took a hit…..and I just started back up in the gym yesterday. I’ve got 2 weeks until I have to bare it all in a bikini for a bachelorette party so it’s crunch time…literally!

After Labor Day weekend, I will officially be in fall mode. What does that mean, exactly and how does that even relate to working out? Well friends, let me just tell you.

helloooo things that are going to try and make me fat. So how do you stay motivated when the bikinis get put away and the comfy sweaters come out?
Well first, you can scroll down the fitness page on Pinterest and see things like this:

this shirt

Motivated yet?

Then it’s time to get some cute workout clothes. I mean, if it helps, it helps…. 😉

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

Get yourself some good music. My top 5 songs to workout to are:

1. On to the Next One- Jay Z
2. Scream- Usher
3. The Fighter- Gym Class Heros
4. Learn to Fly- Foo Fighters
5. Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites- Skrillex

Figure out ways to make your favorite treats a bit healthier. I love cooking and I really love finding ways to make what I love a little better. Even if it’s just switching out white flour for whole wheat flour it makes yourtreat justifiable 😉 And it’s totally fine to indulge in those pumpkin spice lattes or pastries… gosh knows I’ll definitely be doing so! Just make sure not to make those a daily occurrence.

Well girls, that’s all I’ve got! Thanks for having me and thanks again V for letting me take over!! xoxo.

Friday’s Letters

Dear Friday, I adore you.

Dear cheese tray at Cafe Intermezzo, I will see you this weekend!

Dear small town where I got a ticket, F.U. I was speeding because I was told to get my booty to see my dad bc he didn’t have long. The fact that you’re making me pay a total of $500 is REDIC. And take a driving class? I WAS SPEEDING.. not selling crack or murdering someone!

Dear money, I love when I see you a lot. Preferrably in my account.

Dear Bentley, You are so fat! haha Sorry for leaving treats in my closet and not closing the door!

Dear Family, stop being so freaking CRAY CRAY!! KTHANKBYE!

I also decided to do this fun little post that I saw on Lauren’s blog.

1.  The best thing to do on a hot day is day drink at the pool, nap, then go for a light dinner and ice cream.
2.   The best place to be on a hot day is the beach.
3.  The best thing to eat on a hot day is  cold fruit, or a cold fruity cocktail.
4. Hot days can be miserable at times.
5. My go to uniform on a warm summer day is  as little clothing as possible! Tank, shorts, flippy floppies or wedges.
6. The scent that reminds me of summer is A&F Classic perfume (apparently they don’t sell it anymore, sadz!) or D&G Light Blue.
7.  My favorite thing about summer is the long days and nights, being tan, cold drinks.
